Day 14 - Back to Sydney!

He looks sick...

After 5 matches, I finally came something that wasn't last! I won!
Sorry didn't blog yesterday, we had no photos and we didn't do anything. Today we came back to Sydney.Because it was very windy at Daydream, the ferry back to Hamilton was very choppy, and Ben almost threw up. We left him with his sick bag, and whilst we were waiting for the planeto take us back, we noticed he had it on his head. We got home safely (even though it's Friday 13th!), and got a takeaway.

Day 12 - Feeding

I like your new perfume!

What did your last slave die of?

Typical Callum... Eating the wallaby's apple. The only time he'll eat fruit is when he's eating someone elses!

Mini golf... Guess who lost AGAIN?!

Our new member of the family.
Today we went to go and feed the wallabies again. There was only two this time, and one was very timid, so you could only go up and feed one of them. Luckily it was very friendly and we got a number of photos with him. At lunch time, Callum, mum, dad and I went to go and feed (and hold!) a shark, and then feed and stroke one of the huge stingrays here.  I was really scared but I did it! Sadly, we didn't get any photos of that.

This afternoon we went to go and play mini-golf again, and I came last. Again. We're going to go again tomorrow to see if I can come any position that isn't last. Tomorrow night we're all going to go to the cinema on the beach to watch Zookeeper, I can't wait!

Day 11 - Birthday!

New island, but old habits die hard.

Looking gorgeous and sun-kissed!

Made losts of new friends today!

Williams. Callum Williams.

Today was Uncle Pete's birthday! In the morning we went to a cove on the island to go snorkelling. Although the water was a bit murky, we had a lot of fun feeding the fish bread that Auntie Caz stole from the breakfast buffet. We all got nipped by the fish this time! Surprisingly, there were also quite a number of wild kangaroos there, and they were very friendly, especially when we fed them the bread (no surprises there though!). One of them even ate straight out of my hand! There was a mother there with a baby in her pouch. It was so small, it only looked a few weeks old.

This afternoon we played mini-golf again (I came last... yet again), and then lounged around the pool. Whilst I'm working hard in the lobby (you can only get internet here), Auntie Caz, Uncle Pete, mum and dad are sitting on the lawn behind our rooms drinking wine and having a great time, as they do every night! We'e having an Italian buffet tonight for tea (Uncle Pete's choice!), and I'm starving.

Day 10 - Relaxation

Dad has been wearing that same shirt for about 5 days now.

Sorry about the lack of captions, my brilliant mind isn't working its hardest this evening. Today we did nothing! It rained in the morning, but quickly cleared up, and by the afternoon, there was no trace of it anywhere. Mum, dad, Callum and I walked up to the north side of the island and looked in the shops, and then came back and lounged around the pool all day. Callum, mum and I played mini-golf in the afternoon (I lost), and we're going out for a meal in about an hour.

Today is the 100th anniversary of the Titanic setting sail. Happy thoughts, everyone!

Day 9 - Moving Day

Hi everyone!

No photos today, because we've been travelling, but we are now at Daydream Island, and I'm sad because you can only get wi-fi in the main reception, not in the rooms. It's really nice here, and Callum and I have been snacking on the chocolate we got for Easter.

Happy Easter! 8D

Day 8 - Last Full Day at Hamilton

Butter wouldn't melt.

The new M&S campaign - Jamie Redknapp eat your heart out!

Does something seem fishy to you?

Fishly Come Dancing

Sunset on Hamilton.
A very relaxing day today by the pool. Callum entered a mini golf comp, not exactly the Masters, and came third (he won a KitKat but failed to share some with me).  Mum and I went snorkling when the tide went out and we saw a massive fish but didn't get a picture as it was too scary!  We also saw a stingray and loads of other fish. I also bought a new fluffy platypus toy and a rubber, magnet and post-it notes with platypus on it, do you have any names for him? The favourite at the moment is Platy (thanks mum).

Off to Daydream tomorrow, see you there!

Day 7 - Great Barrier Reef

Cal exploring the GBR
Banana Man had really let himself go after retirement
(and remember kids - don't have nightmares!!)

La La and Po bonding
Idiot smurf

Han's fans

Cal full-on scuba diving

Went on a boat trip to GBR. The journey there was terrible with nearly all of the boat suffering from seasickness - put that boat trip in Cala Bona in perspective. However williams-tribe.co.uk dealt with it all and did not contribute (Vic had taken tabs beforehand and Han did an air-barf  but that was all) Cal was on his iPad and missed everything !! GBR was fantastic. Myself & Cal went scuba diving (he was a natural) and after a BBQ lunch (which thankfully wasn't seen again) we went snorkling around the reef. The fish just come up to you and are as interested in you as you are with them (however Han was the victim of an unprovoked attack by some delinquent guppies and suffered a life threatening "nip" - her words not mine).
Great day and the place is truely remarkable.  Blog tomorrow
